PRESS RELEASE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, SUG UNN.
We wish to use this medium to thank your for your solidarity to the Students' Union Government so far and also appreciate your rigorous and determined attempts (both individually and collectively) in ensuring that this administration achieve most of its prior objectives.

This is to bring to your notice that with effect from Monday, 12th May, 2014, the price of food in all eateries within the Students' Union Building (SUB) will henceforth be N180 per plate.
More so, all eateries at Franco Ref has been warned to adhere strictly to the stipulated price rate of N150 and N100 for with and without meat/fish respectively. This is applicable to all classes of food.
We have not been silent concerning other related issues as we promised in our manifestos, we are currently facing little challenges which by the grace of God be fixed soon to ensure that those promises are materialized.
Also, in our effort to subsidize the transportation (shuttle) fare to-and-fro school, the union has been making serious effort towards achieving that. To this course, adequate plans are ongoing to ensure that change is effected as regards to the fares.
We therefore continue to solicit for your support and cooperation for effective discharge of our duties, bearing in mind that the effective representation of your interest would always be our utmost priority.
Your opinions are so invaluable, as all will be welcomed and properly looked into.
